Children's teeth

Having good oral hygiene should begin even before infants have teeth! Teaching your child good oral hygiene will set your child up for a life of healthy teeth.

Check out these tips on how to keep your child’s teeth healthy:

Start Good Hygiene Habits ASAP

When your child is an infant, you should begin to clean his/her teeth and gums with a water-soaked gauze pad.

Brush Teeth With Care

Your child’s teeth are more sensitive than adult teeth, so make sure they brush with care.

Fight Tooth Decay

Tooth decay is the last thing anyone wants – especially children. You should never let your child go to sleep with a pacifier or a bottle filled with anything but water. When teeth get exposed to substances that contain sugar on a frequent basis, they’re a lot more susceptible to getting tooth decay.

Prevent Cavities

Make sure your child does not get cavities! To prevent cavities, get sealants in order to prevent food from getting stuck in teeth.

Childproof Your Home

While childproofing your home should be a given for many reasons, it also works wonders for oral health. Research has shown that under the age of 7 are more prone to dental injuries caused by things around the house.
